I know what you mean…. I’ve been doing some logo design recently and I use squared paper for draft ( and often daft) ideas – this was one of the former ( and possibly the latter)

I’m a big fan of colour, but I do feel that it’s good to get back to monochromatic once in a while to practice the basics of shading and the like. And the results are often quite interesting!
It kinda looks like a hot air balloon with that grid design.

I’m always flipping between the B&W and colour . . . maybe it’s good . . . . . . or maybe I’m just indecisive
Luckily we don’t really have to choose, and can just do what we want.
