Where the blues started for me . . . .
One of the great albums! I still have my original MONO copy in a frame! Clapton, has never played the blues better than his solo on ‘Have you heard?’ I wrote a song dedicated to this album called ‘Fell in love with the Blues’: you can hear it on Bandcamp. Hope you like it . . .

Some musical instruments . . .
Though music is a big part of my life, I rarely seem to draw anything musical. So started a few sketches today: a harmonica, obviously in the key of A . . . . and a woodblock and beater . .

Yes . . . 2339 different possible solutions… and in nearly fifty years I’ve found eight . . . I’m not doing it everyday mind you . . . . . but it does make me wonder whether it was a little too advanced for an eight year old . . . . .
Why whistle ye not?
Why is that nobody under the age of about 35 ever whistles? Not just here in Italy, but also in the UK. It’s very odd to me; personally I don’t even realise that I’m doing it. The other day, coming out my radiotherapy, one of the other guys said: ‘How come you’re not whistling today?’ It transpires that every time I come out I whistle . . . relief, probably.
Anyway, anybody got any theories? ideas?
