Buying a battery for my guitar tuner- cost? 5 euro- the guy gives me one euro change and says: ‘have a coffee on me’   I buy some card for printing –  the lady gives me a discount of 50 centesimi for the ‘language lesson’– I’d explained the word ‘ream’ to her…Only in Italy! 🙂

Mickey Baker 1925-2012

Just found out that Mickey Baker died last November. I bought this book whilst I was at school 12/6  (about 60pence) – -I should finish it soon. Thanks, Mickey.

 

Johnny Swing- the musical

One of the reasons that I’ve not been on RAM for a while is that I’ve been working hard on ‘Johnny Swing – the musical’ I’ve been recording with Enrico, Giacomo and Matteo three fantastic young Italian musicians, so now the hardest part – getting the gigs…..

You can download the tracks for free, (however if you feel the urge/need to donate something to help us get this project off the ground that would be extra fine!)
